Room 1 have been reading 'Aroha's Way' and talking about our emotions and what makes us feel better. We understand that everyone reacts differently to the same situations, and have different ways to feel better. We then created our own digital book about our different emotions and how we feel better.
We are a Year 4 to 6 class of learners at Kawakawa Primary School in Northland, New Zealand. We are in Room 1 and our kaiako is Whaea Lizzie. This is where we share our learning. Please leave a POSITIVE, THOUGHTFUL, HELPFUL comment on our mahi.

Throw those stinky words in the trash!
Room 1 has been looking at extending our vocabulary. We created a brainstorm of different words to use instead of ones like "said" or "went". This will help us make our writing more exciting for the reader.
